The space and the light, they are very important to be able to fittings the models, me fortunately have with a great space and a good natural illumination to work, I have divided the space in well differentiated four areas, the first work area is a table to be able to draw or to alter the planes of the ships, in the bookcase there are books and magazines, to consult and to look for the information that I need to be able to fittings the models, there is also a personal computer that is very useful to consult and to visit page of other modelist, although this liking is basically handmade, we have to be to the day of the new technology.

In the second work area, the electric tools are, as a drill, a saw and the useful ones to sharpen the tools, next to this area he is the third that is where I have a lathe, it is a very useful tool to make gun, masts and the mobile pieces for the ships of radio control, lastly the fourth area is the work bank with all the hand tools, it is where I build and I finish the models, another fundamental piece to work with comfort is to have a work bank with wheels, we can put this way the ship on the bank and to work for all its sides without having to play the pattern.

In the shop I carry out the models using different construction techniques although basically I use wood for the static ones and the navigable ones I use wood, glass fiber and another technique that it can be strange, it is paper.

The hull of the navigable models fittings in paper are manufactured glue paper ribbons intertwined in a hull that serves as mold, when we have put some ten paper layers and this completely dry one you disassemble the paper of mol and we have a exact reproduction of the pattern , once dry and disassemble should put several varnish layers to the hull that the humidity of the water doesn't ruin the hull.
